( open ) sit down a while and watch the flowers blooming
Who: Frisk and your character!
What: A couple event prompts and one other.
When: During May.
Where: Various places.
a) stay DETERMINED
( Time is strange, especially from the point-of-view of a child. While time seems to have passed rather quickly for Frisk, it also feels as though the days have dragged on since they ended up participating in the game that sent him into the jungle. That had been difficult for them – perhaps one of the more difficult trials that they had gone through.
Since then, they haven't felt like quite themselves. It's been difficult to completely focus on those around them like before, and they're more preoccupied with what they can do. They haven't tested the extent of their powers, and so – that's what they're doing now. It could be something completely minor that Frisk is doing at the moment – having a conversation with someone else, playing a game, purchasing food with the small amount of money that they have. It's then that they use the abilities that they have from home, LOADing in order to go through what they did before. It may feel like a slight shift in the air, a vague tug. No matter what someone feels in response to Frisk going back, their expression remains neutral.
Your character will either feel a feeling of deja vu, or they themselves will realize that time has reversed itself. Frisk will resume what they're doing from before – whether it's holding now unspent money, or going back to a game that they had lost. )
b. self-evaluation
( The changes come quickly, though it's still painful all the same. Long, curved horns grow where they shouldn't be – human teeth are replaced sharp fangs, dirty-brown fur grows where skin once was. There's no hiding the claws that suddenly grow, either – and by the time they're done changing, they no longer resemble a human. Instead, they look far closer to the goat-like monsters that they had met in the Underground at home. Only... there's no denying that they don't quite look as welcoming as those monsters.
They're avoiding looking in the mirrors right now. They know that they're still themselves – there's no denying that, but there's also no denying how scary they actually look right now, too. While it doesn't take them long to gather courage to make their way outside, at one point they can't help but stop. They catch sight of their reflection in one of the nearby shops and quickly look away and make a sharp turn –
Only to run into someone close by. They stumble back for a moment before looking upwards – offering a quiet apology. )
Uhm – sorry.
c. imposters
( The vine appears unexpectedly – appearing in Frisk and Chara's room and tangling itself around Frisk's leg before they have any chance to respond. It latches itself onto them then, and before they realize it, a golden-colored flower begins to blossom on near their right eye. A hand goes to the sudden new, yet vague weight freezing when they feel petals and stem where it shouldn't be.
It feels like a knee-jerk reaction at this point in time, Frisk deciding to try to go back in time and LOAD to the time before the plant had latched onto them – however, it backfires, another flower next to the other. It's something that they try multiple times – attempting to hopefully try to RESET - going even further back in time - instead of LOADing. Though, by the time they give up trying to reverse what's happened, there's a significant number of flowers grown to the point where their vision is obscured.
They'll make their way out of their home after realizing that this is out of their own hands, wanting to find some sort of other solution to their problem. However, their movements are sluggish and careful – hand moving to carefully hold where the flowers had latched themselves. If someone tries to greet them, they'll stop in their steps and slowly look upwards. )
