[dabi has the same feeling, but here in trench, the reason and goal that drives his entire life is gone. though he can continue on basic survival, without endeavor around, it's thrown him into a spiral. where he feels empty and lacking. once more pitched into the reality his life serves no more purpose. missing a reason for his own existence.
so far he hasn't found anything to fill that void. asides from the stubborn refusal to let something like trench kill him.
