"Consort to the divine. Together, they are the founders of a nacent dynasty
in the Lands Between, kingdoms that have been so long without love." No
doubt if Viktor saw his memories from a lonely night at the church, his
thoughts had turned to that subject at some point. It's a common thing for
him, at those troubled moments. The dynasty is ever his solace.
But when there's work to do, he keeps busy. "I'm surprised you saw anything
at all through those dusty old things." He picks up a rag he tore from his
old wrap, dousing it in washing water and coming to the window give the
thing a proper scrub. "These panes must have been here since the Erdtree
grew its first leaf."
The tattered cloth squeaks quietly against the glass, and in it's wake he
sees something as well. He recoils slightly from the window, eyes now
focused on the street beyond. He'd seen something scuttling, mostly
hidden by the rag. Something terribly large.
"...Ah." Perhaps he'd dismissed Viktor's reaction too soon. "I
belive I saw it too. Is this another quirk of the place, like the apples?"
Those had proven to be fairly harmless.
