Sleeping in much later than he intended to, Megumi's mind runs at a neurotically fast pace compared to his sluggish moving body. He's already about an hour late, and has completely and uncharacteristically forgotten to let Viktor know ahead of time. Plagued by countless sleepless nights, the toll really starting to wreak havoc on his physical body. Strange dark purplish-blue bruises line his pale wrists and mouth area- almost as if something had gripped that part of his body too tight.
One foot in front of the other moving as though something heavy is tied and chained to both feet. While, his upper body moves more freely swaying in a manner reminiscent of someone who has been drinking way too much. But that is not the case. Moving through the world feels like walking through water, every step met with a greater resistance than the last. Luckily, everyone seems to get out of his way without him having to make much effort. It's strange but he's not going to question that.
Looking up, he is met by the familiar sight of the warehouse where Viktor's lab is located. Before going in, he leans up against the wall. Back sliding down till he’s on the ground with knees to chest. Unfortunately, the need to sit is too great, but it’ll just be for a moment. Just enough time to catch his breath.
A pulsating ringing sound echoes in his ears, the volume increasing second by second. It’s deafening. Breaking out in a damp cool sweat, he reaches into his shadow, pulling out his tea canister- his blood pressure dips drastically causing an icy sensation to his creep down his spine-no longer able to hold himself up- as the light around him dims to a sepia color before tunneling and ultimately fading to black.
Kage rushes into the lab, her agility and finesse on full display as she quickly navigates through the space without hitting into a single test tube. A blur of black shadow, dashing about determined to find Viktor. ]
