Who: Ange and Lucille.
What: Lucille finds herself missing her half-beast form. A magical accident happens.
When: Early June.
Where: Over at Lucille's place.
Content Warnings: Magical body transformation
[ It's not very rare for Ange to visit Lucille. She does it all the time, really. It's a nice way to get a slight break from the busy and noisy house she lives in - and while Ange appreciates the company there, she's the sort of introvert who definitely needs something a little less quiet and with fewer people involved every now and then.
Visiting Lucille is perfect for that. Not only does Ange feel comfortable and close with the other, but Lucille is also a pretty calm type. They can just sit down and calmly have some tea together, letting Ange have some of the peace and quiet she needs.
Hence why she's at the woman's door today, knocking on it to announce that she's there. She figures that Lucille could probably use some calming tea time as well, after how the other had been transformed for a little while last month. ]

She opens the door and side-steps to let Ange in. The Omen doesn't move from her spot, but she's turned herself slightly so she can watch the two humans.]
That's a splendid idea, darling. How are you?

[ Ange offers a small smile as she says it, indicating that there's at least nothing major troubling her that she's forcing down for the other's sake. The fact that her answer isn't quite exuberant has so much more to do with just the way Ange is - and the way that there's always something to deal with in this place, isn't there.
But she's definitely alright enough to be able to just calmly have some tea with Lucille. To just enjoy the other's presence, especially when Ange has found that it's pretty calming.
(Though that might just be a side effect of the fact that she doesn't quite realise how comforting it is to be around a parental figure, considering how long ago she lost her own.) ]
I hope the same goes for you?
[ She's already stepping inside, not looking worried about the Omen in the slightest. Sure, Lucille's Omen has a form that's a little.. more dangerous than most, if one were to put it that way, but Ange isn't bothered by that in the slightest when the Omen is just an extension of Lucille in a way. That means it wouldn't hurt her. ]

Melinoe cranes her neck up to look at the visitor and gently sways her tail back and forth -- her way of greeting friends of Lucille's without saying anything to them. She isn't the most expressive of Omens, but she likes to show Lucille's friends that they are welcome in her own little way.
Lucille closes the door behind Ange and quickly moves to the windows to open the curtains and let in some light. She likes it dark indoors, but she doesn't want others to sit in that darkness with her.]
I am well, thank you. Human again, too, which is... oddly disappointing to me.

.. disappointing?
[ Apparently it's a surprising idea to Ange, judging by everything about her reaction. She seems a little.. confused, mostly.
Ange kind of assumed Lucille would have been glad to be back to normal, able to walk around on human feet once more.
Still.. this is Lucille. Ange won't immediately judge the other - she never would want to. Instead she stays quiet for a second, and then slowly asks: ]
How so?

I know it sounds peculiar, but I rather liked being able to fly. I was given an opportunity to learn, firsthand, how it felt to fly like a bird.
[She pauses, takes a breath.]
We observe creatures like birds and moths to learn about them, but we don't truly know what it is like to be them.

[ But the girl still very much sounds like she's trying to process what the other is saying. Sure, they don't know what it's like to be one of them - but is that such a bad thing? For as crappy of a life as Ange has had, she does enjoy being a human, rather than any kind of animal.
Ange tries to think about it a little harder though. It's the animal part that's hard to understand for her, but wanting to fly?
That's.. not so weird. A lot of people have wanted to fly. Isn't that the very reason planes were invented in the first place..? ]
But it's not like you'd have to be a bird or any other kind of animal or insect to be able to fly, right..? It's the sort of thing people could do with magic here as well.
