Luke's response is almost automatic as he gives her shoulder a squeeze:

The thought sobered him quickly, forcing him to pay attention to the rest of what she was saying. Three lessons and then she ran away, hunh? That seemed... over simplified, but also...
"Well, that sounds painfully familiar..." he muttered sheepishly, remembering running away from Yoda after only a few days because his father used his friends to deliberately bait him. "Trust me, you're not the first padawan to do something like that, and I doubt you'll be the last."
