D is just going to retreat upstairs and drink his tea and rest. The rain and being awake during the day is exhausting particularly as he's had more and more trouble sleeping at night even when his corruption is low.

When he does leave later on to go about his day night, he'll leave the mug clean and sitting back with the others.
