[ K is a frequent visitor to the Farther Shores. It's a combination of things: his feeling a curious affinity for the sea, appreciating the scenery and normally quiet solitude, and it being one of his Gastly's and shiny Sandygast's favourite places in Trench to play, where the inky dark beach sand matches the Pokémon's own sandy body.
During one such trip, an abrupt storm that rapidly grows more severe has K recalling the Pokémon pair to the safety of their respective poké balls, before he seeks shelter in one of the nearby caves. It isn't the first time he's had to wait out a storm like this. He's accustomed to the caves usually being unoccupied, but as he makes his way further in, it becomes apparent that he isn't alone here. Though he carries no light sources, he has no difficulty seeing in the dark — and making out the form of the giant feathered beast. The sound it makes stops him in his tracks and he raises his empty hands in a placating manner, trying to convey that he doesn't want any trouble, either. ]
All right. I'm not going to bother you. [ His voice is calm and steady as he addresses the creature, though he takes an uncertain step backwards, debating how fast he should retreat. ] Just wanted to get out of the rain. [ For all the good it would do — he's already dripping wet. But, thanks to both his android physiology and Coldblood, at least he can't catch ill from the cold. ]
