[of course it's meaningless, but much of what's here doesn't have much to do with them either, so the memories can sometimes make for distractions. dabi actually spends a lot of time with his memories, though that's not a very pleasant area to go into. some of this effort here was made to distract him from that. mostly since there's little he can do about it here.
