[This time he doesn't rush forward, waiting for the thing to cool down a small bit. He's breathing hard, but he's learned to take tough hits in battle. Burns don't bother him as much anymore. Dragonfire's another story, but while Dabi's close he's not quite at the same destructive power as one of the First Brood.]
[Maybe he'll tell Dabi about those adventures some time.]
[He takes a deep breath, feeling the pain from the burns start to die down. He'll worry about healing himself later. He knows a few places he can go where Gaia won't be aware he's gotten treatment... she'd get mad at him if he showed up with burns.]
[The sound of other people trying to smother the fire in the more distant parts of the forest has him wince. They've only made it worse - but if this thing isn't taken out it could cause even more damage. He readies his sword, waiting for the other to signal - and then launches himself forward, bashing into it and slicing. The phantom swords appear once again and pierce through the thing's shell, striking deep into its core.]
[He ignores the sound of the creature's pain. He has to harden himself against it - there's no way he could have dragged this thing back to Sanctuary. It's too far, and likely too far gone.]
