"No, I don't think that's dumb." He smiles and nods seriously. "Hope is an extremely important thing to have. It doesn't matter if it seems silly to other people - you have to keep hope in your heart, if you want to get through."

He's not totally sure what to do if it doesn't work out... his hopes tend to. But he's not in his world, so things might not work the same way.
