"There isn't much of it in this place anyway," Luz said with an eyeroll. "I mean sure, you have Hunters, but I recently had to help disarm an unruly mob this month from burning someone alive. If we had any kind of justice, we wouldn't need Sleepers to save their own."
And that was about all that Luz could say about it. She wasn't one for proposing how to police, after all. That was a "heroes" job.
"Traditionally, it honestly depends? If you're talking about certain monotheist gods, in an existential sense, they're everywhere and nowhere. But if you go Greek? They can get up in your grill all they like, just not exactly in their real forms."
But obviously Pthumerians were different.
