Obsession, depression... there's a reason he tries to limit his feelings to milder ones or more positive ones. He's seen the consequences of going too far. And yet... and yet. There's always something that pushes him, drives him up the wall or to the furthest reaches of what anyone could imagine. He tries to hold himself together, but it's... rough going at times.

He takes a sip of his drink and sighs, scratching at his cheek. "Though there's enough..." Not 'heroes', but... "There's enough people here willing to step up to stop someone like him that I suppose he wouldn't be as big of a problem as he would be normally."
