That is until they fall the ground and wind up in a weird alternate version of Trench. This felt like a blast from the past. She had seen a few alternate versions of Deerington back in the day, but this was the first time it had happened with Trench.
It takes her a moment to gain her footing but she hears the creature charging toward them. She tries to reach for Crescent Rose but she's too unbalanced to get a handle of it.
It's when she hears Ange cry out that she turns her head toward the beast. Her silver eye shines blue before it lights up the entire area with a blinding blue shine. The light dies down and the area in front of Ruby and beyond toward the beast is flash frozen with a thin sheet of ice.
She let's out a gasp as she comes to her senses and realizes what she's done. And she quickly looks to Ange.]

[The ice around the beast wiggles and starts to crack. This is only a temporary fix.]
