"Hold on," had been muttered, turning on the device to do the exchange. At least he knows how to do it, Tory's info in his omni; and he almost doesn't pay attention to the doorway, who enters, except habit makes his eyes glance and then-- pause, before they can return to the omni as they figured they would.

If it hadn't been who it was who enters. His brows raise, a show of surprise Robby directs away from Paul, turns to his omni instead. An action perhaps inspired somewhat by guilt; to have the devil spoken about walk in thereafter, and all that. But he's wondering too, what part to play: to stay and admit who he is, or to let the two of them sort things out first, then be more honest to Paul later on.

His dad makes that decision for him, but Robby's already looking back at Paul -- from that moment he uses his name. A name that Robby knows he never gave Paul, deliberately, and when was it the last time his dad said it? He looks at him quietly, watching, his own expression muted as he considers how he should think or feel; and if Paul should look back, it's a cautious interest at most that can be read from him.

The name drop was on purpose. But what it means will be for his dad to figure out.

"We've met," Robby follows up after his dad; and he can now nod to Paul, the offered cup of coffee. "I was just leaving. I'll send you a message later."

He steps away, those last words given with a raise of his omni and directed to his father. Who he gives a nod, a signal that he'll be leaving now.

This is their time.
