Oh, what, that is so rude?! Ochako puts her hands on her hips, puffing up her cheeks. Honestly, people really need to just stop butting into other peoples' romantic relationships as if they were some kind of free drama... Yes, there's a level of kindness in it -you want what's best for your friends - but most of the time it's just plain...nosy.
"Should'a punched 'em. Right here," she pokes her nose, that Kansai dialect coming out in full swing before Ochako clears her throat. "It's really none of their business what you--or we, really...do with our partners. I haven't exactly told everyone about me n' Bakugou dating officially, but I'm only really hiding it from people that...would use it against me." The League, obviously. Villains. Actual bad people who want her hurt, or dead.
"Ehh...your life seems about as, um...busy as mine," Ochako looks around at the book shop a moment, mostly the young kids still sort of milling about. "If you're done here, we ought to share a few stories about our worlds one day. I feel like I've heard and learned a bit about yours, but...you don't really know much about mine, huh? Unless Deku's told you about it."
Ochako sets a hand on Luz's shoulder and gives her an affectionate and gentle pat. She clearly did go through a lot, and her family and life back home sounded...strained. It's never easy to go through loss, especially of a parent that you're close to. Ochako would be beside herself if anything happened to hers - they're truly her world, above all else. It's clear as day Luz loves hers, too.
"Well, come over sometime!! Maybe for dinner, or a sleepover! He's eh...not not much a people person, but I think he'd be okay with just one person in his space. I would have to let him know, though... oh! Or you'd probably be better off finding him out on patrol. He does that more than I do, actually."
