[Or something. It's not that important anyway.]
Someone had to. He said forever ago on the network he could fix it. Especially since it's his fault for starting fights with Mariana anyway. And he wasn't hard to find or anything.
[He wasn't even particularly hard to wrangle, really.]

[ Helpfully, he contributes: ]
He was a real stickler, too. Marched me right over here, nothing I could do about it.

Necromancers. Always raising people's spirits.
[Jokes aside, he's amazed to hear the lengths Billie went to, to get this guy to come over. Not that he put up much of a fight, by the sound of it. But he also knows how forceful Billie can be when he sets his mind to it. Necromancer or no, an immortal eldritch faerie boy isn't one to be trifled with. And yet, for some reason, Vyng isn't exactly jumping for joy at the prospect, either.]
Man. Has it really been that long? Time sure flies in this town, huh.
[. . .]
[He might be stalling a little bit.]

[Trench isn't really a good place to not be able to see, to have to depend on other beings to be your eyes for you. It's only a matter of time until they run into some real trouble, and Billie is very much aware it's been almost a year since they had to rescue Tuck from the zealots in the tower. What if they come back?]
Besides, sometimes people need to fix their own mistakes.
[He looks at John.]
Especially when they hurt other people. Especially if they don't mean to.

Guilty. It ought to be a quick fix, though. No funny business. I'd say no pressure, but you and I don't seem to be in charge, here. I know when I'm beat.
