He gives an amused sound from his throat. Not a laugh because there is very little reason to laugh in this moment. BUt there is amusement. This lowly Meng Yao has such a grand future ahead of him. He wonders how many of the steps he has climbed towards the great goal in his mind. How many people have fallen to his schemes by this point in his life?
