"There's a lot of stuff my teachers couldn't teach me due to the way this Quirk works, but they helped me so much anyway." All Might only ever wielded the super strength of One For All. Midoriya and his teacher entered uncharted territory together. Midoriya is thankful and modest to a fault. It's automatic. His mother is the same way.

"A sea sponge, huh?" He nudges just below Paul's ribs where his liver would be as if expertly making sure everything is in order. "Hm, you're right--pretty spongey," he says, apparently satisfied. He likes Paul's smile, and he finds himself mimicking it unconsciously with the rise of one corner of his mouth.

"In my world and LaRusso-sensei's, there's the concept of qi. It's not scientifically proven, but it's taught with martial arts. It's like, uh, not quite energy, or breath, but kind of? All your body's processes work together to do what you wish, like... fwhoosh, or uh, it's hard to explain... I compare it to that heat when my Full Cowl powers up. Just kind of feel it, I guess."

He traces a line down the center Paul's chest.

"Here at Miyagi-do, I might be able to use it in its more traditional sense: focusing my qi flow into a point to give a move more power or making sure qi flows well to improve my health. I don't know if I can squeeze my liver though."
