[Nah, she just realizes how awful but necessary some of that shit was, and can now look back and laugh. As grueling as UA is, there has never been a time where the blood, sweat, and tears they shed didn't pay off in some way. And he's right, the standard for teaching a bunch of volatile, superpowered kids is a lot more strict and tough than it would be otherwise. The teachers really have to mimic high-stakes scenarios otherwise these unprepared and inexperienced children will go out into the real world and get killed off immediately. That, and they'd just rebel and become like feral cats...or worse.
Ochako huffs a little, crossing her arms and puffing up her cheeks...like a hamster. She would say something about the fact that hamsters still bite pretty hard, but the question catches her off guard a little.]
Oh, ehh...I don't really remember, it was a pretty long time ago, a-and some, uh...stuff happened at the Camp that took...precedence. [She wrings her hands together a little, but shakes her head.] Maybe 30-40 minute intervals? And I'd have little breaks to um...throw up if I couldn't hold it in, then rehydrate and rest a little. But they'd up the speed and force, or try to make the time in between longer - it was an endurance training, since I can't rely on my support gear alone to keep me standing up and not throwing up when I'm on a real job.
It was horrible at the time, sure, but I got stronger because of it. We all did - our quirks grew with our bodies. And none of the teachers ever put us in a situation that they knew we couldn't handle. [Because at the end of the day, UA is still a school. And they can get in hella trouble (and have) if they put their students at risk in any way.]
