Now he's torn. He wants to run and get her paper if that will help, but he's worried about leaving her alone. Which is worse? Sitting with her here without anything to help her waiting for her to be able to make it somewhere warmer, or leaving her alone to fend for herself? It doesn't help that he's incredibly cold as well, and he doesn't know how quickly he can move.
