Ok, I can definitely find some books on herbs, we have a lot of them! It's actually pretty important, I found out, since food can get scarce when winter hits like this.

As for law, I can either come up with a few books that deal with law in a fictional setting, or something that comes directly from Trench. They have a few books on how certain laws came to be, and some that were famously broken.
