[winter's barely gotten underway and it's already been a lot. the bruises and cuts of November have yet to wholly heal, and the coldblood of the three has gotten hit hard with lockjoint at the turn of the month. there's really nothing for it, is there? somewhere warm, healing...]

[Manabu's head nearly submerges entirely under the warm water as he unexpectedly dozes off, but snarfing a bit of water does a lot to startle him to sit back up.]

Guh! Pluh! Pleh-! [he double blinks and looks around. no one...saw him being super uncool, right?]

[Kazuma is a bit slower to follow, not because he doesn't agree with the idea of exiting the spring but because of his own ailments and healing injuries. He comes up behind them, towel snuggly wrapped around him.]

Hopefully, the heat did some good...[Having suffered from lockjoint himself before, he doesn't envy Manabu--it was quite an experience.]

[Manabu murmurs a soft, affirmative sound, nodding at Ryunosuke in light of that worry. he looks away from it, though, in favor of glancing back over at Kazuma and his injuries. in his mind, those are more egregious than rickety joints and perpetual chill...and because it's Kazuma, not himself.

he follows Ryunosuke indoors and down the hall to the room they've rented to share - definitely not dissimilar to the first one. it makes Manabu's stomach do a little flip from the memory. it gives him cause to shoot a furtive, bashful glance back at Ryunosuke while he's settling in.

it's still a new kind of thing, getting comfortable with both of them at the same time...and while he trusts them, he can't say he's sure he won't bungle something up himself by merit of being himself.]
