If Oscar suspected Vyng and his family were ill-prepared in the ways of producing food for a whole town, then...he would be abso-fucking-lutely right. Nobody should be entrusting them with that responsibility. (As far as Vyng is concerned, he's just the interim grounds guardian until some hapless, sad-sack Sleeper needs an actual reason to wake up in the mornings. Then he can sagely pass the baton over to them and go along his merry way.)
