[ How the tables (or couch??) have turned??

Here Robby was, thinking he was doing Mister LaRusso a nice favour for his good old pal, and suddenly there's a-- a couch? Which is somewhere in the land of cars showing up in Trench upon a person's arrival. Robby listens to Mister Toguchi with confusion, not quite understanding despite the directions. 'Organize with other students, bring couch here.'

He's being bossed into carrying a couch? Now those aspirations for a killer sensei are down and dead, and Robby feels the true cut of betrayal as he turns his incredulous expression onto Mister LaRusso--only to be met with what should be a familiar expression.

Except he rarely has it staring back at him, you see.

There's a lurch of indignation, Robby shitty chores Keene wanting to protest this dumb labour plan. But he won't be defeated, folding his arms. ]

Fine, I'll do it. [ Midoriya? He can ask Midoriya, he's super strong. There's also--oh.

A smug smile creeps onto his face. ]
We'll have it done in no time. No problem. [ A lift of his chin. ] I'll leave you two to it.

[ He's texting Mob as soon as he leaves this room!!! ]

[ Chozen knows the look of a clever scheme when he sees one. There's a trace of approval in the sly edge to his grin as he nods along to Robby's agreement. He's intrigued to see what the students come up with, although for now, he isn't even close to guessing what Robby really has in mind.

(He is certainly not amused at the ruffling of Robby's feathers, or the so very teenaged affront in his appeal to Daniel. That would be beneath his dignity as the far older party. He surely never allowed his own face to go through such contortions as a hot-headed young man.)

He waits until Robby is almost out of earshot before he turns to face Daniel once more, and when he speaks, he is clearly one of those old men whose hearing is going and who cannot measure their volume. There is absolutely nothing to joke about when it comes to: ]

It is two thousand dollar couch. Price gouging by American businessmen, very serious matter of honour. You understand.
