Luz shook her head. Boy, there was always a lot that she had to learn from all of these different people and their worlds, wasn't there?

"That is a heck of a long time ago! That would have been the early seventeen hundreds, and Connecticut was one of the original thirteen too! Wow."

Luz had to wonder exactly what HAD happened in her version of the United States.

"I remember. You kind of have to remember the names of the dead, in the town I'm from."

Luz sighed. "How they whipped people up in a frenzy to go after witches and probably were more about land disputes. I've only just started to reevaluate how much was true and how much wasn't though."
