[Well that was a lot. A hell of lot. But he got it. Oh boy did he fucking understand it. Having someone who you put so much into, who you trusted more than anything. And then they're gone. And as much as you have people you could blame, in the end, it don't do shit for ya.

Except...the way she presented this "Roman," Ekko gets he's probably more like Silco than Benzo or Vander. Which means Neo is probably a lot more like Jinx. And ain't that a thought. Because that gives him an idea of just how far Neo could have gone...but is also maybe a sliver of hope that Jinx could really turn it around. That's a very dangerous kind of hope.

He chuckles and it's a very dark, sardonic humor in the cut of his mouth.]

My baggage is a guy came along and ruined my life and the lives of everyone around me in one night. Took over my city and pumps it full of drugs for years. Pays Enforcers off to do his dirty work or uses his own people to beat or kill anyone who stands up to him. Built his empire on the drugs he poisoned our city with to the point the streets are full of dead-people walking scrounging to get their next hit as their bodies eat them from the inside out. And he claims he's doing it for the betterment of our people. That if we just give him more power and more control, somehow all of the lives he's destroyed will get make our people strong again.

[He rolls his shoulders, to get rid of some tension, because really, just thinking about Silco is enough to make Ekko want to clench his fists and hit something.]

My best friend thinks he's her savior when he's the one who ruined our lives in the first place. But he "chose" her, so she's special and that's great. Whatever he does to anyone else doesn't matter.

So maybe my baggage is really her and not him. Because I already know what I'd do the minute he shows up here. And I wouldn't regret it for a damn second, no matter how much she'd hate me for it.

[And maybe he didn't meant to let that part out, but honesty is honesty. He's not gonna regret it.]
