[Much like Willow, Savage made the monthly ritual to walk see if anyone from his world happened to have arrived. He was only looking for one specific person, who he knew in his hearts would likely never appear, but he was drawn to walk the length of the beach at least once a month to search anyway.
On his way up to the Boardwalk, he spotted Willow doing much the same as himself. Undeterred, he walked over to the railing and leaned his back on it, having to drop his mismatched elbows further than usual because of his height to rest on the top of the railing.
