As soon as Lexi finds out about that she's going to 1) fuss over Luz even more and 2) find the one who helped Luz and thank them profusely.

That makes two of them.

"Balanced? But, I remember those guys. They sucked and I don't want them around any more than you do. But a blood ritual needing lots of blood from several people, including you? Several times? Okay. Okay. I'm officially worried and you are not gonna work today. We're closing for the day and you're coming to my house to relax and I'm going to feed the hell out of you."

And Lexi asks, wide-eyed, "Are you willing to take that chance? 'Cause I'm not."

"You can do that safely from the confines of my house. It has its own room for you and everything. Now," Lexi uses her arm around Luz's waist to tug at her gently. "It's closing time."

And Lexi leaned her head into Luz, breathing her in.

"Yeah, another reason why I'm worried. C'mon, honey. Please? Let's go to my house, I can cook and make tea for you even better there," Lexi asked in her most persuasive tone of voice.

When Lexi breaks the kiss, she nuzzles into her beloved girlfriend.
