It's really scary to have such potential, right?

[Break sounds decidedly chipper as he asks this. The truth, which Blake will no doubt learn later, is that Break dragged his feet on learning to use these powers for the better part of a year for fear of what he might destroy if he messed up. Any dabbling on his part was out of a need to learn to control those powers, because it was only sensible. When he finally gave in, it was because the Golden Witch Beatrice had arrived in Trench, and Break knew that if she decided to terrorize Ange, sooner or later he'd have to fight her. Without magic of his own, he'd certainly lose.

He has since regained his old ability to blast his enemies to dust, and without the restraints that power once had. In his right mind, he treats that power with respect, and uses it sparingly.

Corrupted, he stops caring.]

Miss Ange was a witch in her own world, before she came here. Because of that, her blood has only accentuated her powers. It makes sense that she would be able to pull something like this off when one knows she has prior experience! [He gestures at the room they're sitting in.] I was but a swordsman in my own world, and any extra powers were a gift of sorts from something else. What you're seeing here is a result of months and months of practice.

[As he speaks, Break cups his hands together, and with seeming effortlessness he conjures another rose. It doesn't appear out of thin air, popping out of nothing. Rather, it starts as a flicker of violet light between his fingers, and blooms out into proper petals. Unlike the others here, this rose is one he's creating to match Blake's colors -- white and purple both splash across the flower, and the edges are rimmed with the gold of her eyes. Once it's done, Break offers it to her, solemnly.]

In all this red and gold, it'll be important to keep your own colors. It won't be any fun if you forget your purple.
