Oscar dropped his hands with a sigh-- audibly if not visibly deflating at the pointedness of the question. Truly, he hadn't known where he was going. In many ways, he was still biased toward the ways within Remnant, and it was strange to watch someone have difficulties with a challenging condition when he knew someone else with similar circumstances who seemed to function better than those who could see to their full capacity.

"I-I guess I don't know," he admitted. "But you're helping now, and I wanted to let you know that I can help you, too. This town is different from the last one I was in-- and there's a wide variety of people here..."

He trailed and shook his head, knowing full well that he was babbling.

"Sorry. That's probably too much of an explanation, isn't it?"
