At least Chizuru does know how to follow a lead, and it helps that she's very eager to just have something for her hands to do here. When she gets this nervous, she needs to have a clear task or something to fidget with, and putting down her basket and starting to take out the food she's made - an entire variety, some of it using the fruit that had been growing all over Trench last month, and even a few snacks that are more in the Japanese style that she's used to - is perfect right now.
It means the girl is quick to kneel down on the blanket, staring to take out the food bit by bit, making sure to put it on little plates she brought along to keep anything from getting too sandy..
