Luz still couldn't even believe how easy dates were with Lexi. Luz felt sort of nervous in instances, but mostly they would just talk about issues and movies and hear each other laugh. Luz felt like everything could vanish, it would just be the two of them, and she could just...stay that way for a while.

That's at least better.

"Yeah, I never did have a want to try venision, but after Deerington? You didn't look at deer the same way. Of course, I can also say that about cats, dogs and especially wolves, so maybe it's a matter of perspective."

Luz couldn't help but laugh lightly at the Bambi comment. She agreed of course but explaining that way clearly won Luz over.

So did Luz. That ritual alone had been hard to find and tedious to perform several times. She even felt a little drained after, so that let her know it was working.

Now that they were away from Riteior's last gasp, Luz was at least starting to recover a little. She still felt tightness in her chest and tiny grasps of pain, but it had at least subsided considerably.

"Good idea. I need some time to recover. Uh, stay with me?"
