[ Midori is a kind, charming man. He treats those around him well. He doesn't ask for too much, but no too little, a person who pays careful mind to those around him. Atsushi is an equally kind person, albeit one who seems to lack proper confidence in himself. Thus, Midori had immediately become quite taken from him. He loves kind and gentle people who have a strong sense of what's important to them. He's been so fortunate that he's given his time to him on more than one occassion.
Today he's invited him out to a particular little shop. It was difficult to find proper tea and sweets here, but he had managed to pin down one that had both. They were of an acceptable quality, he thought, though not nearly as nice as the high quality teas and expert desserts that he might have found back home. They were incredibly sweet, though, and that was enough.
He sits across from Atsushi at the table, stirring the spootfuls of sugar that he'd dropped into his tea slowly. Her must have curried favor with the owner, given the affectionate way that she'd spoken with him and the variety of sweets that had been given to them. Midori doesn't eat often anymore. It was one of the few things that he missed about having a truly human body. He had replaced so much of himself that organic needs were no longer of much concern. He can, though, at some risk to his systems, and he decides that risk is worth the reward.
So he smiles as he stirs his now saccharine-sweet tea. ]
Ah, Nakajima-san! You simply must try this one... It's the owner's fall special, you see! I'm sure she'll want to know your thoughts as well.
