( With Nemu here now, it feels like he's being torn in two.

Between relief and genuine happiness at one end of him, and then dread and a horrified sort of anticipation at the other side. As much as he's happy that she's here, there's a lot of bad about this place.

( He asks her before he can get too deep into the thoughts that keep him awake, keep him nervous. He moves from one of the tables to the bar area. )

( Where Lull is a place to get light healing, the Lumenarium is a place to be healed on a deeper level. He's begun shifts there, too; he'd signed up for some from before Nemu showed up, and intends to see them through.

On one of his breaks, however, he's looking more than a little tired, smoking a cigarette a few dozen yards from one of the entrances.

There's someone lingering, though. )

( He's ... trying to induce visions.

What better place to do so than here? The incense burning and the pale bloodstones give him what he wants, and then some: visions of bloodshed, hooks in spines and sharp carving implements. Blood of all colors. Screaming and death throes.

Gasping, Samatoki tears out of the underground, stumbling as he goes ... )

( Trying to get his mind off of the visions he'd brought on himself is Samatoki, seated at the bar area in Achelliac. He's a few deep, thinking about Hakagemachi above anything else. He'd frequented the bar back there, too. )
