[Mabel isn't stupid -- she's dealt with a brother who wasn't her brother at all before, and even in such a stressful moment, she's on top of things enough to be keeping an eye out for tells like yellow eyes or a difference in the way her brother carries himself. But Mabel also isn't a paleblood, and can't tell the difference between her current surroundings, a proper dreamscape, reality, any of it without signs from Dipper. She's never been in Dipper's dreamscape before, so who's to say it isn't gray and awful compared to the neon of her own? Dipper has none of the injuries she saw with her own eyes now, but why would he, in his head? And didn't she tell him outright to make this happen, so she could try to help him the way he helped her just last month?
She falls for it. Scrambling up, she staggers to him without a second thought.]
Dipper! What happened? I heard the explosion, but I didn't see anything. How do I fix this?
