"Don't apologize." He offers a weary smile. "It's not necessarily a bad thing to learn, right? I'm very much new to all of this so it's nice to know what I can handle right off."

He nods, and takes the moment to steady himself. He didn't even realize how on edge he was until Nehan placed his hand on his chest, and he could feel his own hear beating a mile a minute. He closes his eyes, inhaling deep, exhaling slow, and he does this a few times before his heart slows to a much more normal pace.

"All right." He opens his eyes again. "Should we uh... try this again?"
