He might not be much of a hugger, or somebody who wears his feelings on his sleeve.

But Obi-Wan came to the Waking World with you, didn't he?

[At least, that seems to be the pattern with families who passed through the Dream together. For as long as he was uncertain about whether Tuck would stay in their old world after all, Vyng himself refused to move on to Trench. Not because he wasn't capable of leaving on his own, but because he loves him, and he wanted to be there in case his best friend needed help leaving Deerington's shattered remains — and their old family life — behind.

Vyng knows he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. But after hearing Obi-Wan talk about family, one thing is clear to him: That these two ended up here together, at the same time, speaks to the bond they share. And that would make sense, wouldn't it? Obi-Wan's essence is that of a steady river, of someone who moves with unwavering intentionality and purpose. If he thought he should return to his beloved Jedi community, there's no question he could have willed himself to stay in his original universe. And yet here he is, with his son. His brother. His student. His close friend. The person who's everything, all at once.]
