[It's short work to finish cleaning up, and from there it's Baltus who interrupts Qrow's reverie first. Leaving Break to put everything away and wash his hands, the omen trots around the back of Qrow's chair and worms his long head beneath his elbow, so that he can rest his snoot on Qrow's chest and stare up at him. In part it's a reflection of Break's attention on him, as always, but truth be told Baltus often acts on his own where Qrow is concerned. This man has brought his person a great deal of comfort and humor in these past few months, and that means that as far as Baltus is concerned, Qrow belongs to him now, too.
Break, for his part, makes it a point to plop into his chair instead of sitting gracefully, bringing his legs up to rest his knees against the table. He is thinking of Gilbert again, but not in a positive way this time. He's reminded of moments like the one right after Sablier, this time, when Break collapsed after their fight and Gil took it into his head that he was responsible. The feeling here is much the same.
