[ There is, indeed, no time to answer the question of how she got here. Ange doesn't think there's any good answer for that question in the first place, anyway. It seems to be random terrible luck, nothing more or less than that. Kind of fitting for the way this place seems to have operated so far.
But while Break is bothering to try and actually explain the situation in front of them right now, trying to answer the question Ange asked in the first place, Ange is very much distracted by what she is seeing. By the way they're absolutely wrecking the memory's version of Break, despite the fact that the other was already clearly down for the count. Tied up, beaten, at their mercy.
Ange is pretty good at pulling pokerfaces. But if no one in the memory is paying attention to them, then it's not like it actually matters--
-- and she may be still adjusting to the idea that Break can see here, considering she's not taking the one standing actually next to her into consideration.
So even though Ange doesn't speak up much, her thoughts are clearly visible on her face. There's the disgust at people treating someone who's clearly helpless that way (no matter the fact that they're acting out of fear, as Break seems to imply), the worry when the unknown girl jumps in the way.
Ange has never been good at watching people suffer. Especially when nothing can be done about it. After all, this is a memory - it has already happened. It's done. And yet.. her heart aches, without her being able to help that feeling either. ]
Those awful people..
[ Granted, Ange could be questioning this situation more. The way those people mention that Break has been killing their companions could easily mean that Break is actually the threat here, hurting people who don't deserve it.
But she refuses to believe that. No matter how much she claims to be a suspicious person, someone who tries to shove other people out and away, Ange is much weaker than that, deep down. And Break performed the very simple act of being kind to her, even when it didn't seem to give him any special benefit.
Therefor Break is clearly on the right side of any conflict Ange witnesses, in her subjective view.
(It helps, though, that the girl who tried to protect Break absolutely does not look like she could be on the wrong side in all of this. Ange would eat her entire shoe if that were the case.) ]
What a bunch of cowards, that they'd only dare to deal with you when you couldn't fight back against them.
[ Even if that's about to change, like Break says. But Ange can't help it. Her emotion flows out before she has the energy to stop it - and she hates beings who are more than human and shove people around, just because they're more powerful in any given moment. ]
