"No. Well, I guess he probably still wants to kill us, but Massimo made it very clear that he wouldn't be doing that, and no one wants to make Massimo mad."

So Luca feels pretty secure that Ercole won't be brave enough to try anything. Sure, Massimo might not be able to shoot fire out of his hands, but he's still big and intimidating and would definitely be pissed if anything happened to Luca or Alberto.

"Massimo's the big guy you saw. And I know you wouldn't let anyone hurt me."

It's just really nice to see that, even if it was in a situation that Luca knows he was going to be fine, because he already had gone through it once.
