Luz was not going to mention it was a hat that did this (thanks Eda) but even with that being in the case, it was still pretty awesome, in her opinion. Granted, the staff at least was a little easier in some ways, but being a bird tended to attract less attention.

"Bird it is then! Of course, whether it's the staff or the hat, a bird is involved."

She tapped the top of the Palisman, though Owlbert choose to remain in his quiet state for right now. She was him floating though, so she made a small whistle. Owlbert DID wake up then, the staff disappearing now that he was awake, and Luz donned the hilariously small hat and POOF.

She was now a crow. With a hilarious little crow cowboy hat, though if it weighed her down she gave no indication of it.
