"Well..." Luz trailed off, looking embarrassed. "What I stole from them at the time was clothes, since I was naked when I showed up here, like everyone else was. I just didn't have anyone offering me any robes, so I had to make do with what I could. I stowed away on the boat, grabbed some clothes, and then saw they were trying to kidnap a kid, so I helped him escape, and we wound up on shore together."

She left out that Luca was actually a fish being since, again, that was his secret that he needed to tell when he felt comfortable doing so.

"It is! But it was a great one, and I got to make a friend, so I'm happy that it happened!"

Luz nodded. Her omen appeared at her side, giving the demon a solemn nod.

"I'll be fine! Now that I can walk again, I can definitely get home fast! Thanks, for everything! Don't be a stranger, come by and visit if you feel inclined!"
