( Oh... she's not here for Peter? In fact, the girl is asking about things that pertain to Charlie instead, and she blinks, slowly looking up a little — still not quite making eye contact, shyly watching the girl's shoulder instead.
It's really not often that people ask Charlie things at all, and especially not about this. Dad doesn't like Grandma, avoids taking about her as much as possible. Mom sometimes talks about her, but it's... weird. Charlie knows that her mother and grandmother have a tense relationship.
And Peter... he's afraid of her.
Of all the Grahams to talk to about Grandma, Charlie's the one to do it. She pauses, quietly absorbing the concept. As she takes awhile to think, her tongue gives softer little clucks in intervals, so quiet that they're almost barely audible at all. Finally, after several long minutes, she looks back at the girl. )
Grandma came to live here when she got sick. This was her room. And only I get to come in here.
( She looks around a little, eyes lingering on the triangle there on the floor. )
