It kinda takes some practice, but it gets easier the more you do it. You wanna watch for things that don't look like they belong - a lot of wires and stuff you can spot if you look real close. Same if the ground doesn't look right - like if there's too many leaves all piled up in one spot or something, there's probably a reason for it.
