Finding a page that sounds promising, Ange stops flipping for a moment, and then realisation seems to dawn upon her face. Perhaps even a faint sort of pride as she starts reading out loud: ]

"Lockjoint tends to begin and last throughout Bone Season".. Hmm.. "This condition forces blood magic to gather at the joints and effectively lock up. Sleepers find it difficult to move their bodies at the bends, fingers, knees, shoulders, etc without some form of discomfort. Minimal lockjoint can be painful and annoyance, but critical lockjoint can be fatal."
