Maul looks a bit sad and pensive, thinking of what could have been. Still, looking to the past is no good. All he can do is take what he's learned from the Doctor over the time they had together and move forward with those lessons at hand. Then he manages to lift himself out of his sadness a little bit. "...But I did learn quite a lot from him."

Maul chuckles as he looks at his followers and a few of them laugh as well. "Oh, they have gotten used to me enough to be very familiar with things that bite. You will do just fine around here."

Vin nods, a grin coming over his face as he addresses Wesker. "You will bring much power to our group here." That was one of the things they have been seeking all this time after all. They want power and plenty of it.
