It had helped, yes. Luz was beginning to see that while Darth Maul was going to be trying, that was ultimately going to go at a slower pace than most would have liked. The people who cared about Maul would likely be put to a test with how much they'd have to stand.

And of course, how much effort Darth Maul was willing to put forth.
