Luke tossed Maul a wry, amused smirk at his comment, but was immediately serious again as the other man drew that saberstaff. He allowed himself a breath, already feeling where the strike was going to be going, and he let the Force flow through him.

The Force may have been failing him in regards to telekinesis, but when it came to precognition, he was thriving more than he ever imagined he could. He could almost feel the possible movements Maul could make before they happened, before the other man could even think of them. It was a little startling, and almost threw him off at first, but he hid it by putting himself on the defensive, moving backward as he blocked Maul's attacks. It worked in his favor regardless, allowing him to see for himself just how a saberstaff was used, and potentially see how he could fight back against it.
