Luke stood up wordlessly to follow Maul back into the house, pausing only to slip his father's lightsaber back into its hiding place. As he followed, he absently rubbed at his arms when he thought Maul wasn't looking -- the memory of the torture he had endured before he had been saved crawling along his skin like the lightning had.
He slipped into a chair as Maul spoke, managing a weak smile.
"I... think the difference is to love selflessly," he said softly after a moment. "I love my father very much... but I knew going there that I had the chance of dying myself... or losing him. I was prepared for either outcome, to let go."
He paused, before shrugging sheepishly, absently picking at the sleeve covering his left arm.
"...I guess that sounds kind of terrible and reckless though."
